Who doesn’t know about Meikarta? Hellowww… When we go to the market, all people talk about it (moreover for woman hihihi). When we go to the campus, we find many Meikarta’s pamphlets. Even when we go to the the rest room we also find Meikarta’s brochure. Meikarta everywhere…
What is Meikarta?
For your information, our university is in Cikarang, coincidentally Meikarta is located in Cikarang too! Maybe some of my friends will move there… By the way, it is a project held by Lippo Group. This is not actually a new project anymore because the design of the city was created since 2014. And it has been built since 2016 on a piece of land with 22 million m2 wide. Seriously? Can you imagine it? It is indeed so big, fellas! 😵 🙌

And now, let’s move to the facilities! 😎
In Meikarta, Lippo Group will build multinational hospitals, multinational finance departements, international airports, about 150 schools from Elementary to High School and also universities, shopping mall, shopping street, City Library, opera and theater, industrial research centre, and convention centre. Not only that, they also give transportation facilities such as monorail, 4 layers of coherent internal road network, and flyover to avoid traffic jams. Moreover, they will provide us with access to highways. And many many many more!! Honestly, I can’t imagine that. I think it will looks like a super modern big city! How about you? Can you? 😖😵😘
Next, let’s talk about their apartments, they offer many types of apartment with many styles, such as American style, European style, Asian style, and Modern style. (Hmmm, but I want Korean style, please…😛) These apartments will provide us with many facilities such as : gym, hot water, balcony, pay TV access, 24 hours of security, playground, swimming pool, and air conditioner. Furthermore, quoted from kompas, Mr. Riyadi said that they sell the apartments with an affordable price. We only have to pay 120 million rupiah and we can get those facilities above including the apartments. Somebody interested here??
But, do you know behind their greatness, they also have many controversial cases. Hmmm…😵
So, do you know who Deddy Mizwar is? 😲😲 I'll give you a clue...
He is an important person in West Java.
Yes! He is the Vice Governor of West Java.

As we know, the most controversial case between them is about the permission case. Mr. Mizwar says that Meikarta sells an illegal product because they have not get the full permission from the West Java Goverment. Futhermore, this situation may distrub the Election of West Java’s Governor 2018.
Whyyyyy?? 😮😲 Do you know why?
Deddy Mizwar says “what will happen if the new governor doesn’t support this project?”, meanwhile Meikarta hasn’t got the permission from West Java’s Governor yet. And if this project failed, it could inflict the investor and costumers. Futhermore Dedy Mizwar also accuse Meikarta selling illegal products because of the permission case. It heard so complicated…. 😥😥
The other case is about Meikarta’s advertisement. Have you ever seen the advertisement? Some people missunderstanding Meikarta’s advertisement, they think that the advertisement compares Jakarta with Meikarta and they see a big gap between ‘the rich’ and ‘the poor’ people in this advertisement. Do you guys feel that too? Very very complicated! 😬😭
Based on the fact that we found from tirto.id, it is fine to do the pre–selling activity like what Meikarta does. There is no law which prohibit about the pre-selling activity. In other words, Meikarta doesn’t break the law and doesn’t sell illegal products. The pre-selling activity is a common activity that many property companies does to sell their products that usually called as “test the water” which means that the company cheking the market situation. It is fine for a company which hasn’t gotten their permission or still seeking their permission clarification to do pre-selling but both the company and the costumer should know about it. So, if the costumers agree to buy Meikarta’s apartment after they know about the Meikarta’s permission case, it means Meikarta does nothing wrong. In that advertisement, there is a girl who says “Aku ingin pindah ke Meikarta”, and the background reflects about a city which is so poluted, many traffic jams, trashes everywhere, and many crimes. Many people missunderstanding the content of this advertisement, as if it compares between Meikarta and Jakarta city. The advertisement reflects Meikarta as the suitable living place for everyone who has a lot of money and the poor one are left behind and can’t enjoy Meikarta as the future city.

But do you know?? The understanding of the advertisement is only an interpretation of a few people. Which means not every people intreprate in the same way. Do you agree with us? In fact, the “ugly” city is not always interprate as Jakarta because there isn't any specific symbol of Jakarta in the advertisement. However, the bad situation that is reflected in that advertisement not only happens in Jakarta but in many cities in Indonesia. So in our opinion, all arguments which talked about it is wrong. But it is people’s rights to interprate based on their opinion. Everyone has a freedom to speak up their opinion, right? 😄😀

Furthermore, the arguments which talked that Meikarta just for high class people are not right because the price of Meikarta is reachable start from Rp 120 million and so on. Also the minimum payment of down payment is only 5% of the main price, plus! the payment can be paid in installments for 6 times and this way of payment can help those people who have economy crisis to have a proper living place. So, it is not only limited for high class people, guys. And by the way, Meikarta also can be an answer for the unemployement, right? 😃😃
Finally, don't judge a book by it's cover. We still don't know whether Meikarta can be built successfully or not. How if in the future Meikarta success to become the largest and the most beutiful metropolitan city in the Asia? Will you still be strict with your opinion about Meikarta and its controversial case? Moreover, Meikarta is still a part of Indonesia and we, as Indonesia citizen, should support Indonesia and everything inside it right? So, let's stop failing each other and start supporting each other from now on.. 😙😗😘
